The European Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (CEMATEX) announced at the CEMATEX General Assembly that the 19th International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA 2023) will return to Milan, Italy, on June 8-14, 2023 at the Milan International Exhibition Center.
CEMATEX Chairman Fritz P Mayer explained: “We have received very positive feedback from ITMA 2015 exhibitors and visitors. Milan has an excellent infrastructure to host major exhibitions such as ITMA, with an exhibition area of over 200,000 m2, attracting A global audience. At the same time, it has a wide range of hospitality services and air services to all over the world, as well as large-scale textile machinery and textile manufacturing.” Alessandro Zucchi, Chairman of the Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (ACIMIT) said: “We are very happy. Milan was chosen as the host of ITMA 2023. We will work with government agencies, local partners and other parties to ensure that another successful exhibition is presented."
The Milan International Exhibition Center, which hosted ITMA 2015, defeated two other short-listed bidders in the list of the first nine candidates, and won the bid. Mr. Fabrizio Curci, CEO of Milan International Exhibition Center said: “The top international textile machinery and textile and apparel technology exhibitions can return to Italy, we are very happy. The organizers trust us to provide professional and high quality for international activities at the Milan International Exhibition Center. Affirmation of service."
ITMA is the world's largest textile and apparel technology exhibition, held every four years since 1951. ITMA 2019 will be held from June 20-26, 2019 at the International Exhibition Center in Barcelona, Spain. At present, the booth of ITMA 2019 has been warned, attracting more than 1,600 exhibitors, and will showcase the latest technologies and sustainable solutions for the entire textile and apparel industry value chain as well as fibers, yarns and fabrics.
